The Indonesian Institute of the Arts Bali (ISI BALI) renewed its Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Udayana University (Unud) on Monday (11/5) at the Postgraduate Building of Unud. The renewal of this collaboration was carried out in line with the institutional nomenclature change from ISI Denpasar to ISI BALI.
The MoU was signed by the Rector of ISI BALI, Prof. Dr. Wayan “Kun” Adnyana, together with the Rector of Unud, Prof. Ir. I Ketut Sudarsana. In addition to the signing of the MoU, a Cooperation Agreement was also signed between the Director of Postgraduate Studies of ISI BALI, Nyoman Dewi Pebryani, and the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities of Unud, Prof. I Nyoman Aryawibawa.

The signing ceremony was witnessed by the Chair of the Senate of ISI BALI, Prof. Dr. Drs. Ketut Muka; the Vice Rector for Student Affairs and Cooperation of ISI BALI, Prof. Dr. Komang Sudirga; the Head of the Bureau of Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, Planning, and Cooperation of ISI BALI, Dr. Komang Arba Wirawan; as well as representatives from the leadership of Udayana University. Also in attendance were the Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation, and Information of Unud, Prof. Dr. Eng. Ir. Made Sucipta; the Acting Head of the Bureau of Academic Affairs, Cooperation, and Public Relations of Unud, Prof. Ir. I Nengah Sujaya; the Coordinator of the Doctoral Program in Cultural Studies, Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Darma Putra; and the Coordinator of UPIKS of the Faculty of Humanities, Dr. I Gusti Agung Istri Aryani.
In his remarks, the Rector of ISI BALI, Prof. Wayan “Kun” Adnyana, stated that ISI BALI and Unud share a long historical relationship in the development of arts education in Bali. He explained that the Fine Arts and Design Study Program (PSRD) of Unud had once played a significant role in the establishment of ISI Denpasar, which has now transformed into ISI BALI.
According to him, the relationship between the two institutions extends beyond historical ties and has been manifested through various forms of collaboration in education, research, community service, and human resource development. He expressed hope that the renewal of this cooperation would further strengthen the synergy between the two universities in addressing future challenges in higher education.
“ISI BALI and Unud share historical closeness and the same spirit in advancing higher education in Bali. Through this collaboration, we hope that the partnership that has been established will continue to expand and provide tangible benefits for institutional development as well as for society,” he stated.

Meanwhile, the Rector of Unud, Prof. I Ketut Sudarsana, welcomed the signing of the cooperation documents. He emphasized that Unud shares the same vision as ISI BALI in developing outstanding human resources in Bali and Indonesia.
He expressed hope that this renewed partnership would encourage the enhancement of various academic activities and institutional development initiatives that directly impact the quality of graduates. According to him, collaboration among higher education institutions is an important step in creating graduates who are competitive and capable of responding to the demands of the times.

Institut Seni Indonesia Bali (ISI BALI) memperbarui Nota Kesepahaman (Memorandum of Understanding/MoU) dengan Universitas Udayana (Unud), Senin (11/5), di Gedung Pascasarjana, Unud. Pembaruan kerja sama ini dilakukan seiring perubahan nomenklatur institusi dari ISI Denpasar menjadi ISI BALI.
Nota Kesepahaman ditandatangani oleh Rektor ISI BALI, Prof. Dr. Wayan ‘Kun’ Adnyana bersama Rektor Unud, Prof. Ir. I Ketut Sudarsana. Selain penandatanganan MoU, dilaksanakan pula penandatanganan Perjanjian Kerja Sama antara Direktur Pascasarjana ISI BALI, Nyoman Dewi Pebryani dengan Dekan Fakultas Ilmu Budaya Unud, Prof. I Nyoman Aryawibawa.

Penandatanganan kerja sama tersebut turut disaksikan Ketua Senat ISI BALI, Prof. Dr. Drs. Ketut Muka, Wakil Rektor Bidang Kemahasiswaan dan Kerja Sama ISI BALI, Prof. Dr. Komang Sudirga, Kepala Biro Akademik, Kemahasiswaan, Perencanaan, dan Kerja Sama ISI BALI, Dr. Komang Arba Wirawan, serta jajaran pimpinan dari Universitas Udayana. Hadir pula Wakil Rektor Bidang Perencanaan, Kerja Sama, dan Informasi Unud, Prof. Dr. Eng. Ir. Made Sucipta, Plt. Kepala Biro Akademik, Kerja Sama dan Humas Unud, Prof. Ir. I Nengah Sujaya, Koordinator Program Studi S3 Kajian Budaya, Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Darma Putra, dan Koordinator UPIKS Fakultas Ilmu Budaya, Dr. I Gusti Agung Istri Aryani.
Dalam sambutannya, Rektor ISI BALI, Prof. Wayan ‘Kun’ Adnyana, menyampaikan bahwa ISI BALI dan Unud memiliki hubungan historis yang panjang dalam pengembangan pendidikan seni di Bali. Ia menuturkan bahwa Program Studi Seni Rupa dan Desain (PSRD) Unud pada masa lalu menjadi bagian penting dalam perjalanan terbentuknya ISI Denpasar yang kini bertransformasi menjadi ISI BALI.
Menurutnya, hubungan kedua institusi tidak hanya sebatas sejarah, namun juga diwujudkan melalui berbagai bentuk kolaborasi yang telah berjalan selama ini, baik dalam bidang pendidikan, penelitian, pengabdian kepada masyarakat, hingga pengembangan sumber daya manusia. Ia berharap pembaruan kerja sama ini dapat semakin memperkuat sinergi kedua perguruan tinggi dalam menghadapi tantangan pendidikan tinggi ke depan.
“ISI BALI dan Unud memiliki kedekatan historis dan semangat yang sama dalam membangun pendidikan tinggi di Bali. Melalui kerja sama ini, kami berharap kolaborasi yang telah terjalin dapat terus diperluas dan memberikan manfaat nyata bagi pengembangan institusi maupun masyarakat,” ujarnya.

Sementara itu, Rektor Unud, Prof. I Ketut Sudarsana, menyambut baik penandatanganan dokumen kerja sama tersebut. Ia menegaskan bahwa Unud memiliki visi yang sama dengan ISI BALI dalam mengembangkan sumber daya manusia unggul di Bali dan Indonesia.
Ia berharap kerja sama yang diperbarui ini dapat mendorong peningkatan berbagai kegiatan akademik dan pengembangan institusi yang berdampak langsung terhadap kualitas lulusan. Menurutnya, kolaborasi antarperguruan tinggi menjadi langkah penting dalam menciptakan lulusan yang memiliki daya saing dan mampu menjawab kebutuhan zaman.
“Kerja sama ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan berbagai kegiatan yang produktif dan inovatif, sehingga dapat melahirkan lulusan yang berdaya saing serta berkontribusi bagi pembangunan Bali dan Indonesia,” ungkapnya. (ISIBALI/Humas)

The Rector of Bali Institute of the Arts (ISI BALI), Wayan Kun Adnyana, signed the 2026 Fiscal Year Performance Agreement (Perjanjian Kinerja/PK) with heads of work units within ISI BALI on Wednesday (6/5) at the General Lecture Room of the Design HUB Building, ISI BALI. The signing formed part of the preparation of the 2026 Fiscal Year Cascading Performance Agreement as an effort to strengthen governance, accountability, and the achievement of institutional performance targets in a measurable and sustainable manner.
A total of 17 heads of work units signed the Performance Agreement with the Rector of ISI BALI. They consisted of the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and Information Systems, the Vice Rector for Planning, Finance, and General Affairs, the Vice Rector for Student Affairs and Cooperation, the Head of the Bureau of General Affairs and Finance, the Head of the Bureau of Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, Planning, and Cooperation, the Head of the Institute for Research and Community Service, the Head of the Institute for Quality Assurance and Educational Development, the Chair of the Internal Supervisory Unit, the Director of Postgraduate Studies, the Dean of the Faculty of Performing Arts, the Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, the Head of the Library Technical Implementation Unit (UPA), the Head of the Technology, Information, and Communication UPA, the Head of the Documentation and Art Collection UPA, the Acting Head of the Performance and Exhibition UPA, the Acting Head of the Language UPA, as well as the Head of the Career Development and Entrepreneurship UPA.

In his remarks, the Rector of ISI BALI, Wayan Kun Adnyana, stated that the Performance Agreement is not merely an administrative document, but rather a collective commitment of all work units to realizing the institutional targets and development directions that have been formulated for 2026. According to him, the preparation of cascading performance agreements is essential to ensure that every program and activity within each unit is directly aligned with the institution’s vision, mission, and strategic objectives.
He further emphasized that, through the signing of the Performance Agreement, all heads of work units are expected to strengthen synergy and coordination in implementing work programs in an effective, measurable, and accountable manner. In addition, the Performance Agreement serves as an evaluation instrument for assessing the performance achievements of each unit in supporting the improvement of educational services, research, community service, and higher education governance.
