Fauziah Shahab (Zee Zee Shahab) – Doctor of Art

Pursuing a Doctoral Program (PhD) at ISI Bali has been a profoundly valuable experience for me. The campus environment, lush and harmonious with the rich Balinese cultural atmosphere, provides extraordinary inspiration throughout the learning and research process. The competent and always supportive lecturers encourage me to think more critically, creatively, and deeply. Adequate campus facilities and a conducive academic atmosphere enable me to focus and stay motivated to complete my studies optimally. More than just academic learning, I have also gained a deep understanding of art and local wisdom, which enriches my perspective and broadens my insight as an individual in the arts. Mohammad Rivai Riza (Riri Riza) – Doctor of Art

In the Doctoral Program in Arts at ISI Bali, the face-to-face curriculum structure includes the history, philosophy, and aesthetics of art, as well as research methodology for academic writing. I was given the opportunity to independently determine the research topic according to my interests and field of expertise. We are guided by supervisors who possess competence and experience in both art studies and creation, enabling the production of strong and interdisciplinary research and dissertations. The Doctoral Program in Arts at ISI Bali presents an opportunity for practitioners and academics in the creative arts field to act a greater role in advancing Indonesian culture.

Anak Agung Bagus Harjunanthara, S.Sn., M.Sn – Dance

Since childhood, I have aspired to pursue my education at ISI Bali because I saw that ISI Bali dancers are not only skilled in the arts but also capable of carrying Bali’s cultural mission to national and international levels. I am very grateful to have realized that dream, to learn from competent lecturers, and to have been given many opportunities to perform on both local and international stages. My experience studying at ISI Bali has been an important foundation in my career journey as a choreographer, judge, and art director. My academic background as an ISI graduate adds value and credibility when I am trusted by various parties. Moreover, the network I built during my time at ISI Bali remains very beneficial to this day and serves as one of the key foundations in the development of my career in the arts.

Becoming part of ISI Bali, especially within the Fashion Design Study Program, has been a truly meaningful journey for me. Here, my childhood hobby of drawing blossomed into a deep passion that strengthened my academic path and led me to graduate with cum laude honors. That foundation became the stepping stone for my continued studies in the Master of Arts Program at this very institution. It also opened professional opportunities that have shaped my career—culminating in my current role as an executive secretary at Bank Indonesia. My time at ISI Bali was not only about learning design, but also about discovering purpose, discipline, and the creative confidence to pursue excellence.
