The Institut Seni Indonesia Bali (ISI BALI) has established a strategic partnership with the Management Agency of the Sacred Area Facilities of Pura Agung Besakih (FKSPA Besakih) in the domain of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. This agreement was formalized through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding, held at the Nata Widya Sabha Hall, ISI BALI, on Wednesday (April 22).
The MoU was signed by the Vice Rector for Planning and Cooperation of ISI BALI, Komang Sudirga, and the Head of the FKSPA Besakih Management Agency, I Gusti Lanang Muliarta. The event was witnessed by the Rector of ISI BALI, Wayan “Kun” Adnyana; the Chair of the ISI BALI Senate, Ketut Muka; the Head of the Institute for Research and Community Service, Ketut Garwa; as well as the Public Relations Officer of FKSPA Besakih, Murdiana Jaya.
This collaboration aims to synergize the potential of both institutions in order to achieve optimal outcomes in the implementation of education, research, and community service. Through this agreement, ISI BALI and FKSPA Besakih are committed to developing various programs that support the enhancement of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, particularly in the development, management, and strengthening of systems within the Sacred Area of Pura Agung Besakih.

In his remarks, the Rector of ISI BALI, Wayan “Kun” Adnyana, emphasized that Pura Agung Besakih serves as the spiritual center of the Balinese people, holding significant historical, cultural, and religious values. Therefore, ISI BALI is committed to actively contributing through various academic and community engagement programs, involving faculty members, students, and supporting resources.
“As an arts higher education institution, ISI BALI bears the responsibility to preserve and strengthen the cultural and spiritual values that thrive within society. We are prepared to support various initiatives organized by the FKSPA Besakih Management Agency,” he stated.
Meanwhile, the Head of the FKSPA Besakih Management Agency, I Gusti Lanang Muliarta, expressed his appreciation for the establishment of this partnership. He hopes that the collaboration with ISI BALI will provide tangible contributions to the sustainable management and development of the Sacred Area of Pura Agung Besakih. (ISIBALI/Public Relations)
