The Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of Institut Seni Indonesia Bali (ISI BALI) held a socialization session entitled “Strengthening Journal Governance Towards National Accreditation at ISI BALI” on Friday, 25 September 2026, in the Natha Widya Sabha Meeting Room, 2nd Floor of the Rectorate Building, ISI BALI. The activity was organized to promote improvements in the quality and governance of scientific publications across the university in accordance with national accreditation standards stipulated in Regulation of the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology Number 9 of 2026.

The activity was opened by Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and Information Systems, Prof. Dr. Anak Agung Gde Bagus Udayana, S.Sn., M.Si. Also in attendance were Head of LPPM ISI BALI, Dr. I Ketut Garwa, S.Sn., M.Sn.; Head of the Center for Publishing and Intellectual Property, I Putu Udiyana Wasista, S.Sn., M.Sn.; and lecturers responsible for managing journals within their respective study programs.

The core presentation session featured I Dewa Gede Agung Kurnia Juliharta, M.M., who provided technical guidance and strategies for strengthening journal governance. The session was followed by an interactive discussion and joint evaluation with the participants. The enthusiasm of the journal managers was evident throughout the question-and-answer session, which addressed various technical challenges related to meeting substantive requirements and managing periodical publications.

The socialization involved journal managers from 15 study program journals at ISI BALI, including Amarasi, Ghurnita, Anggit, Anima Rupa, Vastukara, PENSI, Calaccitra, Hastagina, Damar Pedalangan, Cita Kara, Igel, Bhumidevi, Retina, Tattwaloka, and the Journal of Aesthetics, Creativity and Art Management. Through this collaborative effort, LPPM ISI BALI remains committed to continuously supporting journal managers in achieving sustainable standards of academic quality and scholarly reputation.
