As part of B-GAAD III 2026, the Indonesian Institute of the Arts Bali (ISI BALI) presented two international exhibitions: the Bali-Global Art Map Exhibition (B-GAME), featuring international fine arts, and the Bali-Global Innovative Design Map Exhibition (B-GIDME), showcasing international design. The fine arts exhibition presented emerging artistic achievements and new visual expressions, while the design exhibition explored contemporary visual diversity through a wide range of creative media.
Themed “Soulful Space on Design Innovation Now,” B-GIDME explored the relationship between space, emotion, and human values through various contemporary design works. Curated by Anak Agung Bagus Udayana, Melati Blanca Danes, and Loyce L. Arthur, the exhibition was officially opened by a member of the ISI BALI Advisory Board, Drs. Tjokorda Gde Putra Sukawati, on Monday (October 26, 2026), at the Neka Art Museum (NAM), Bali. B-GIDME featured works by 53 internationally acclaimed designers from five countries across the Asia-Pacific region: Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, and India.
The international fine arts exhibition B-GAME was presented at three venues: Nata-Citta Art Space (N-CAS) at ISI BALI, Komaneka Art Gallery Ubud, and Komaneka Art Gallery Keramas. The exhibition was officially opened at N-CAS, ISI BALI, on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, by Anak Agung Gde Rai, founder of the Agung Rai Museum of Art (ARMA).
B-GAME 2026 featured 135 artworks by 108 artists from five countries: Australia, Indonesia, Iran, South Korea, and Malaysia. The exhibition’s curators, Wayan Kun Adnyana, Jeon Dongsu, and Warih Wisatsana, presented the curatorial concept “Soul and Sincerity in the Creation of Now Metaphor,” which positions the soul and sincerity as creative forces in responding to personal experiences, social transformations, and the realities of contemporary life.
