The Rector of Institut Seni Indonesia Bali (ISI BALI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Rector of Universitas Hindu Indonesia (UNHI), Dr. Cokorda Gde Bayu Putra, S.E., M.Si., on Tuesday (April 28) at the Nata Widya Sabha Hall, ISI BALI. The signing marks a strategic step toward strengthening institutional collaboration between the two universities in advancing the impactful Tri Dharma of Higher Education.

The signing ceremony was attended by the Vice Rectors, Deans, and Heads of Bureaus from both institutions. The event was characterized by a warm and collaborative atmosphere, reflecting a shared commitment to enhancing the quality of higher education, research, and community service.

The Rector of ISI BALI, Prof. Dr. Wayan “Kun” Adnyana, stated that the relationship between ISI BALI and UNHI has, in fact, been established for a considerable period through various forms of academic collaboration. He noted that several professors from ISI BALI have frequently served as examiners in doctoral examinations at UNHI, while UNHI academics have also contributed to academic activities at ISI BALI. In addition, a number of ISI BALI lecturers are alumni of doctoral programs at UNHI.

“This collaboration has long been in place through strong academic relationships among lecturers and professors from both institutions. The signing of this MoU represents an important momentum to further strengthen and expand the collaboration that has already been established,” he remarked.

He further expressed hope that the MoU would open broader opportunities for concrete collaboration, including academic exchanges, joint research, human resource development, and the implementation of community service programs that deliver tangible benefits to society.

Meanwhile, the Rector of UNHI, Dr. Cokorda Gde Bayu Putra, S.E., M.Si., conveyed his appreciation for the warm welcome extended by ISI BALI. He acknowledged that ISI BALI possesses numerous strengths that can serve as inspiration for the development of his institution, particularly in the areas of university governance and the reinforcement of cultural identity within higher education. He emphasized that this collaboration should not remain merely at the level of formal agreement, but should be realized through a range of collaborative programs that mutually strengthen both institutions.
