The objectives and philosophy of this research scheme differ from those of schemes that focus on pure sciences or technology, as described in previous documents. This scheme places its primary emphasis on art and design.

Dissertation Research

The Doctoral Dissertation Research Scheme (PDD) is an internal funding program organized by the Indonesian Institute of the Arts (ISI) Bali, with the strategic objective of strengthening the academic quality and the graduates of the Doctoral Program within the institution.

Collaboration Research

Collaborative research is an approach in which two or more parties—such as individuals, teams, academic institutions, companies, or non-profit organizations—work together to plan, implement, and analyze a research project.

National Competitive Research

Research conducted under a funding scheme organized by the Government of Indonesia, particularly through relevant ministries such as the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek), via the Directorate of Research and Community Service (DPPM) and the Directorate of Research, Development, and Community Engagement.
