Description

The Digital Business Study Program at the Indonesian Institute of the Arts (ISI) Bali is designed to address the challenges of the creative economy era driven by technology. This program integrates business knowledge, entrepreneurship, and digital strategy with the richness of Balinese local arts and culture—deeply rooted in tradition yet adaptive to globalization.

Students are prepared to master data analytics, digital marketing, e-commerce, creative content management, and technology-based innovation relevant to the creative and performing arts industries. Through an interdisciplinary approach, the program encourages collaboration across the fields of art, technology, and business, producing graduates capable of developing creative solutions, building sustainable enterprises, and competing in the global market.

Supported by Bali’s unique artistic ecosystem, the Digital Business Study Program at ISI Bali not only equips students with professional skills but also fosters cultural sensitivity, humanistic business ethics, and visionary leadership.

To become a leading study program in the field of digital business based on the arts, rooted in Balinese local wisdom, fostering a human-centered business ecosystem that unites creativity, culture, and technology, and inspiring sustainable creative economic transformation at both national and global levels.

To provide digital business education that integrates art, culture, and technology, emphasizing principles of humanism, sustainability, and business ethics.
To develop research and innovation in the field of digital art-based business, rooted in Balinese local wisdom while remaining relevant to the global dynamics of the creative industries.

Graduate Profile

The graduate profile of the Digital Business Study Program, Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, Indonesian Institute of the Arts Denpasar, is formulated based on the vision and mission of the Indonesian Institute of the Arts Denpasar, the vision and mission of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, as well as input from various stakeholders related to the Digital Business Study Program.

Researcher

Graduates possess competencies as digital business analysts, with potential career paths as consultants, and roles in professions such as researchers, writers, educators (academics), and concept developers. They are equipped with the ability to conduct research, analyze data, and generate valuable knowledge that can be practically applied.

Creator

Graduates possess competencies in Digital Marketing, Digital Startups, Financial Technology, and Design Thinking. They are capable of analyzing conventional businesses and transforming them into digital enterprises integrated with information systems. Additionally, they have strong Information Technology skills essential for operating and managing digital businesses.

Entrepreneur

Graduates possess competencies as Digital Marketers, Startup Entrepreneurs, and Business Consultants. They are equipped with the ability to design business ideas, starting from identifying common problems, conducting research on those problems, and formulating appropriate solutions. Additionally, they have the capacity to understand and apply emerging technologies, with a focus on technology-oriented and information system-based startups.

Digital Business Study Program

Guntur Eko Prasetyo, S.Pd., M.Sn.

Guntur Eko Prasetyo, S.Pd., M.Sn. is a lecturer in the Digital Business Study Program, Faculty of Performing Arts, Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) Bali, holding the academic rank of Lektor and civil service rank Penata III/c. He earned his Master’s degree from ISI Yogyakarta with a specialization in music, and his research focuses on the creative and entertainment industries. His creative work includes composing original soundtracks for the film-television production “Bung Karno di Bawah Pohon Sukun.” He also contributes to community engagement as director of the “1 June – Opening of Bung Karno Month” concert in 2022, 2023, and 2025. He received the Adhyapaka Nata Kerthi Nugraha award for outstanding lecturer performance in 2023 and 2024. His research has been presented in international seminars and published in nationally accredited journals indexed by SINTA, strengthening his contributions to academic discourse in digital business, creative industries, and performing arts.

I Komang Try Adi Stanaya, S.Kom., M.Kom.

I Komang Try Adi Stanaya, S.Kom., M.Kom. is a lecturer in the Digital Business Study Program, Faculty of Performing Arts, Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) Bali, holding the academic rank of Asisten Ahli and the civil service rank of Penata Muda Tk. I – III/b. A graduate of the Master’s Program in Computer Science at UNDIKSHA, he focuses on the fields of formal sciences, informatics, and computing. His creative works include various digital applications such as AR Wayang Parwa, AR Coral Sponges, and Selonding Citta Samasta SSO, along with philosophical-themed paintings. His achievements include winning the Denpasar Smart City ICT Competition, the Creative Photo Competition, and being selected as a Finalist of Teruna Teruni Bali. His research has been published in the Borobudur International Symposium proceedings indexed by SCOPUS, as well as in Bali Bhuwana Waskita Proceedings, Mudra Journal, and Lekesan Journal, reflecting his active contribution to digital innovation and academic development.

Komang Wahyu Dinata, S.Sn.,M.Sn.

Komang Wahyu Dinata, S.Sn., M.Sn. was born on 17 February 1989 in Gerih Village, Abiansemal, Badung. He completed his Master’s degree in Artistic Creation at the Postgraduate Program of ISI Denpasar in 2016 and has been a lecturer in the Music Study Program at ISI Bali since 2022. His artistic works include several ceremonial dances, such as “Saraswati Carya” for SMP Nasional Denpasar, “Loka Praja Mahottama” for SMK Teknologi Nasional, “Satya Gora Dharma” for the Satya Dharma Singaraja College of Economics, and “Angayu Jayastri” for the Class IIA Denpasar Women’s Penitentiary. He is also the founder of Sanggar Rumah Kreatif Ethnica and Ethnica Studio, which focus on creative development and cultural expression in contemporary Balinese performing arts.

I Gst. Ngr. Dwijaksara, S.Kom., M.Sn.

I Gst. Ngr. Dwijaksara, S.Kom., M.Sn. was born in Denpasar in 1993. He completed his undergraduate studies at STIKOM Bali and pursued his master’s degree at the Indonesian Institute of the Arts (ISI) Denpasar. He possesses competencies in information technology, multimedia design, and the creative business sector. He is actively engaged in developing cross-disciplinary expertise that integrates technology and the arts to produce innovative solutions. Beyond his academic qualifications, he also demonstrates non-academic skills such as leadership, communication, and collaboration, which support his professional growth. He remains committed to contributing to the continuous development of education, creativity, and technology.

I Nyoman Mariyana S.Sn, M.Sn.

I Nyoman Mariyana, S.Sn., M.Sn. was born in Sempidi on 8 March 1985. He has been a lecturer since 2011 at the Indonesian Institute of the Arts (ISI) Denpasar, now ISI Bali. He completed his Master’s degree at ISI Denpasar in 2019, specializing in Artistic Creation and Study. Although serving as a permanent lecturer in the Karawitan Study Program, he has also taught across faculties at ISI Bali. His creative works include Musik Kecak Elektronik Sski, Ganggaram (Cak Air performance), the Selonding composition “Ririg”, Baris Jaka for Desa Adat Kwanji, the dance accompaniment “Tedung Jagat”, Cak Pung: Kecak Air, Murdha Nata Sekar Gadung, and music for Rejang Pranatya. He is also active in academic writing, producing studies on Gambang, Kecak, Lelambatan reconstruction, and various community-based musical developments.
