In his remarks, Rector of ISI BALI, I Wayan Adnyana, expressed appreciation to the organizers for inviting ISI BALI to participate in the international event. He emphasized that ISI BALI’s involvement constituted part of the institution’s mission of art, design, and cultural diplomacy, which has been consistently implemented since 2022. This mission is grounded in the vision of Meraya Citta Samasta and promotes ISI BALI as a Global-Bali Arts Creativity Center Hub.
“ISI BALI’s participation in The Pasar Indonesia is part of our mission of art, design, and cultural diplomacy, which we have carried out consistently and regeneratively since 2022,” stated Prof. Kun Adnyana.
ISI BALI sent three student delegates: Komang Prayoga Putra from the Master’s Program in Arts Creation and Studies, Dewa Ayu Made Adinda Ratna Devi from the Dance Study Program, and Ni Komang Trisna Devi from the Fashion Design Study Program. The delegation presented classical Balinese dance performances, including Tari Topeng Manca and Tari Kekebyaran, as well as the contemporary dance performance Deeng Nusantara. The activity also formed part of the continuation of the international programs Bali Nata Bhuwana and Bali Citta Bhuwana, developed by ISI BALI as platforms for learning and community engagement collaboration based on global culture. Through these programs, ISI BALI has established its presence in several countries, including Malaysia, France, Kazakhstan, China, and Thailand.
Prof. Kun Adnyana also reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to expanding international networks through various academic and creative platforms. “We welcome people from the Netherlands and Europe who wish to participate in ISI BALI’s international platforms. We hope that more members of the global community will come to Bali and become more closely acquainted with ISI BALI,” said the professor of art history.
In addition, ISI BALI introduced several international programs, including B-IPADS (Bali-International Program for Arts and Design Studies), G-BACAM (Global-Bali Arts and Culture Advanced Management), and G-BAS (Global-Bali Arts Short Course) as platforms for global collaboration in the fields of arts and culture.
The Rector of ISI BALI further noted that The Pasar Indonesia embodies a spirit aligned with efforts to preserve and strengthen Indonesian cultural memory abroad, while also serving as a warm cultural meeting space for the diaspora and the international community.
