ANIMATION
DesCRIPTION
The Applied Bachelor (D-4) Animation Study Program at ISI Bali, established in 2022, is part of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design and was opened based on the Decree of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia Number 105/D/OT/2022. This study program holds great potential in developing the creative industry sector, particularly in animation, in Bali.
By implementing the Kampus Berdampak curriculum, the program is committed to sustainably carrying out the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, especially in the priority subsector of the creative industry—Animation. The program is also dedicated to facilitating students in applying the skills and knowledge they have acquired through collaborations with both local and national creative industries, providing relevant hands-on experience, and bridging the gap between academia and the ever-evolving needs of the animation industry. Currently, the Animation Study Program has been accredited as ‘Good’ by BAN-PT.
After completing their studies, graduates of the Animation Study Program are awarded the academic degree of Bachelor of Animation (S.Anim).

To establish the Animation Study Program as a center of excellence in the field of animation, based on the Merdeka Kampus Berdampak framework, Balinese local culture, and global competitiveness.
MISION

Graduate Profile
Graduates of the Applied Bachelor (D-4) Animation Study Program are capable of initiating, planning, designing, producing, and presenting creative and innovative animations that are rooted in local wisdom and globally competitive. They also possess the competence to design animations as a means to address societal issues related to the field of animation.
As graduates of the Applied Bachelor (D-4) Animation Study Program at the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, ISI Denpasar, they play roles as Researchers, Creators, Presenters, Mentors, and Entrepreneurs in the field of animation, grounded in local wisdom and equipped for global competitiveness, in alignment with the vision, mission, goals, and objectives of the study program.
Researcher and Supervisor
As Researchers and Mentors, they possess analytical competencies and are projected to become consultants who can work as researchers, writers, educators (academics), and concept developers.
Creator
As Creators, they are projected to become Animation Designers and can play a role in formulating animation knowledge through the practice of animation creation, as well as working as illustrators, animators, YouTubers, game designers, and content creators.
Presenter and Entrepreneur
As Presenters and Entrepreneurs, they possess analytical competencies and are projected to become entrepreneurs, advertisers, creativepreneurs, and art directors. These graduates have job opportunities in advertising companies, mass media, production houses, distro shops, and studios at local, national, and international levels.
